]]>Two Fourth of July Fireworks Shows Near Algonquin
An Exceptional Day
The breeze cools your skin when you reach inside an ice-cold cooler for a drink. In Michigan, the weather is lovely.
Watermelon drips, hot dogs sizzle, and potato salad is presented in bowls.
The sights, sounds, smells, and feelings arouse all senses. Laughter reverberates throughout the park, reflecting off the lake, and is emitted from the rides, games, and kiosks. Frisbees fly until dusk as baseballs and gloves meet. And just when I thought the day couldn't get much better,
Over the trees, the pitch-black, open sky bursts into brilliant red, blue, yellow, and green sparks.
As the crowd cheers and exclaims, rockets whistle, whiz, and whirl overhead, casting a colorful atmosphere of light. The energy is at an all-time high, and people are staring in amazement.

Get a place at Bangs Lake for the July 3rd fireworks display for a lakeside treat. Wauconda Village. They have a make-up date scheduled for July 9th in case of inclement weather or cancellation. For $100, Side Lot Brewery is offering a four-course beer and meal pairing that includes a table outside to watch the fireworks. The address of Bangs Lake is 27877 Valentine Road near Wauconda, Illinois.

]]>St Patrick's day is less than a week away, and there are always lots of St Patricks day events to enjoy! One of the best things to do for St Patricks Day near Algonquin and Chicago is the St. Patrick's Day Shindig at Guaranteed Rate.
Come wearing your green and drink some green beer with a wee bit o fun and a Shamrock of a good time for St. Patrick’s Day 2022. We want to celebrate this holiday with you in Algonquin.
This is an evening event with doors opening at 4 pm for cheers and beers.
Live comedy show with Brett Walkow –
He has been making audiences laugh around the world and will be performing at the event, so don’t miss the fun St. Patrick’s Day event on Thursday, March 17th.
Brett Walkow has performed alongside Melissa Mccarthy and Jimmy Fallon, on the Tonight Show, and in Seinfield’s movie, The Comedian. His credits include the Golden Globes, Comedy Central, HBO, NBC, Fox, and CBS!

Whoosh!
The breeze flutters as blankets unroll, and picnic baskets overflow with watermelon, pasta salad, and sandwiches.
Splash!
Sodas are pulled from ice-cold coolers while beer gardens pour from flowing kegs. The sights and sounds of rides, games, dunk tanks, and booths shout fun as laughter resounds through parks and kids play on playgrounds. The crack of the bat echos from Randall Oaks Park as the sun sets against the skyline. And suddenly…
Bang! Pop!
The blackened sky ignites over the trees, showering the starry night with colors of red, blue, yellow, and green.
“Oohs” and “ahs” are heard from the crowd as sparks fly and whistle, sizzle and whirl, creating a vivid atmosphere of brilliant light above the trees. Energy is high and eyes are turned skyward as hundreds of people watch in awe.

Here at Algonquin Square Apartments, we want to bring you the best fireworks displays near Algonquin, Illinois, to ensure you have an absolute blast this Independence Day.
Links are provided below, so pull out that big blanket or lawn chair and pull up a seat for the best fireworks displays our area has to offer:
For a lakeside treat, grab a spot at Bangs Lake for the fireworks celebration July 3rd in Wauconda Village. If it rains or is canceled due to weather, they have a makeup date July 4th. Side Lot Brewery has a four-course beer and dinner pairing where you can reserve a table outside for $100 to see the fireworks. Bangs Lake is located at 27877 Valentine Road, Wauconda, IL.
Another lake slated to have a show is Crystal Lake. Prepare for a fun day at the beach. Cool off in the Crystal Lake waters and soak up some sun. Watch the sunset over the waters before fireworks light up the sky and reflect off the lake. The display will be held at their Main Beach which is located at 300 Lakeshore Dr, Crystal Lake, IL. Admission to the beach is $5 after 2:30pm.

Meadowdale Park in Carpentersville – Live music, earlier date
If you are looking for an earlier fireworks show, the village announced live music with Shout Out at 7:30pm on June 26th, complete with food trucks and fireworks around 9:30pm. Meadowdale Park and Shopping Center will be the location at the corner of Mall and Kennedy Drives.
