Looking for something fun to do this Thanksgiving holiday in Algonquin?<\/p>\n

Want to give back to the community and help kids in the process?<\/p>\n

Then look no further than the 9th Annual Henry’s Thanksgiving Hustle 5k and Kids Dash!<\/p>\n

Henry is a local child with muscular dystrophy, and when his friend’s parents Seth and Karen Kopf learned about him, they decided to start an annual Thanksgiving fundraiser for him to raise money for MDA and other children dealing with the muscle disease. Proceeds from this event will go directly to the Muscular Dystrophy Association to provide resources and funding to parents and children, improving their lives and the research associated with the disease.<\/p>\n

The race will take place on Thanksgiving day, Thursday, November 25th, 2021, at Marlowe Middle School in Lake in the Hills.<\/p>\n

Time:<\/p>\n

8:00 am for the half-mile kids’ dash<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

8:15 am for the 5k<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

The post-race party afterward starting around 9 am.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

$25 for 5k<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Kids Dash free!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

$20 for virtual<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  Parking is in the front on the east side.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
  \n
  Allow time to walk to the back, pick up the packet, and walk to the start line.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
